Lead with who you help
A strong profile starts with a clear client fit statement. Examples: limited company contractors, landlords with rental portfolios, ecommerce sellers using Shopify and Amazon, or small employers needing payroll and VAT support.
Make services specific
Avoid listing every possible accounting task equally. Put the services you actively want more of near the top, then explain the scope: annual accounts, CT600, VAT returns, bookkeeping, payroll, Self Assessment, R&D, CIS, or MTD setup.
Add proof and practical details
Include qualifications, software, industries, locations served, remote availability, typical response times, minimum fees where appropriate, and any onboarding requirements. These details help prospects self-select before contacting you.
